strawberryjusty:

Hey, look at that! I’m going to be the co-host of a radio show (not AM!) starting tomorrow at 8pm (PST) on TradioV! It’s called FrequenScene and it’s all about music news and the local bay area music scene. Our first episode will feature Kingsborough from Santa Rosa and I’m super stoked! Tune it, won’t you?

We’re awesome!

A long time ago my mother bought me a DVD of select “Midnight Special” performances. Included on the disc was Fleetwood Mac performing “Rhiannon.”

At that point in my life, Fleetwood Mac was just one of those “bands that old people love” and holy shit I couldn’t have been further off the mark. Between Stevie Nicks going into full-on crazed witch mode and Lindsey Buckingham slaying the guitar like a sacrificial lamb, it blew my mind.

Now, of course, Fleetwood Mac rank in my Top 5 bands of all time. If you haven’t seen this version before then you’re in for a treat.

What I want to do when someone starts talking to me on MUNI

sanfranliving:

Music has always been a matter of Energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed Fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S. Thompson (via explaterate)
